My buddy has an Interarms Mark X in 300 Win Mag and was interested in replacing the barrel. Does anyone know where to look for new one in that same cal?Thanks for all your help!!!

  Aren't those mauser threads? If so, just about every barrel maker around can help him. The 300 WM is a quite common cal: As he'll need professional headspacing, have him take it to a 'smith to discust prices and makers. If he would settle for a "take-off" he can speak to that possibility then, too.

  Talon is correct any Mauser 98 thread barrel will fit the mark X receiver. Short chambered barrels are available from Midway and numerous other sources. If he wants somthing special he can get precontured barrel blanks from the same sources (they will require threading and chambering). Either way he will require the services of a good gunsmith to finish the installation.Bob
