Glock Pre vs Post

The S/N of the gun would not matter, as there are no pre-ban or post-ban guns, only magazines. For awhile after the ban, Glocks were shipped with one hi-cap and one 10-rd mag. Possibly some were shipped with only one hi-cap or one 10-rd mag. The box label you quote should say which one was shipped.

There was a post on the same topic in the other forum. Glock refurbished some guns and sold them with one hi cap mag. they had the same warranty as new guns, but only came with one hi cap mag, instead of the two 10 rnd mags in the new guns.

Well...actually there IS such a thing as a pre-ban pistol, pre-ban assault pistol, that is. For example, the M11/9 with threaded barrel is a pre-ban assault pistol, as is the Universal or Iver Johnson M1 type "Enforcer" pistol, Tec-22 Scorpion, Tec-9, and the AR15 pistols that weigh over 50 oz.It's just that there is no specific Glock pre-ban pistol, most pistols do not fall under that category.I've been wondering, as threaded barrels were legal on pistols prior to the ban, would a threaded barrel on a Glock qualify it as a pre-ban assault pistol?[This message has been edited by boeboe (edited 02-06-2002).]
