Info. on Daisy pistol??

I picked up a little Daisy pistol today that i have never seen before.The top of the barrel is marked-- Daisy no. 118 target special calibre .118 patents pending daisy mfg. co. Plymouth Mich. usaI have never heard of .118 caliber.Any information such as date of manufactureand approximate value would be appreciated.The little pistol is blued steel in about 90-95% and has no broken or missing parts.Thanks

  I paid $21 for mine 10yrs. ago, missing the rear sight. I shot lead shotgun shot out of mine, maybe #6 or #7, I'm not sure now. Be careful you don't jam it up with too large of shot! I've seen them at gun shows for $50 to $75.
