Badger barrel

I have a badger barrel that I was going to have chambered for 22 Hornet.The barrel is marked 2225,under that217 and twist is 1 in 16.Badger assured me this was for a Hornet but gunsmith says should be 224.Because of being slithlt smaller,do you think this will cause to much pressure?It is going to go on a winchester 1885 low wall musket action.Thanks for any feed back.Also,a 224 bullet fit down barrel past the contour.

  that 1.5 thousandth will not make much difference, you can also use hornady .223" hornet bullets. just work you loads up from the low end.
