a fellow employee has a model 26 smith 2 inch barrell in excellent shape sn 70812 a-26 anybody have a clue?????thanks

  acording to the blue book i have modle 26 {.45 hand ejector modle of 1950 target} .45 acp cal. adj sights thin ribbed barrel, 2,768 mfg 100% 98% 95% $770 $660 $550 ect.... add 300% for .45 colt cal. {200 mfg}

  thanks hi!!!its a 38 special with fixed sights in 95 percent or better--a small holster wear on the tip of the barrell is the only thing that keeps it from looking new!!!!!!maybe it wasnt a bad deal after all
