Is this a good deal 1911?

Well i just came back from my local gun shop and they have a used 1911A1 for sale at about 325.00 There is little wear and it is from hoslter carry. It is a good looking gun. The only thing i saw wrong is that the slide does not stay open when pulled back and there is a mag in it. There is also wear on the slide from the slide catch. I am just wondering what other people think about this gun. I am looking for something to carry and shoot not really collecting. I have a 92fs and would like to add a colt 1911 to waht i have.

    SaxonPig is right. Buy the gun and a new mag and then completely clean the gun. After that you'll enjoy many pleasurable hours of shooting.

    not really for a few dollars more you can by a rock island 45acp new. why pay almost new price for a used 1911a1 when so many options for new ones are avaliable.

    Is that the Ballester Molina you have on a separate post? If so, price seems kinda high. GD

    No it's not it's a real colt model 1911a1 goverment model. they just got it yesterday. i work today so i can't get it untill monday.i will get it first thing monday if it's still there! I think i will also get a few boxes of ammo. I wanted a Ballester Mollina to make one of those carbine's with it.
