Anyone know "Auto Gas Light Co. N.J ???

I recently purchased a frame for a Colt 25 from a member. He purchased a display cabinet with several Colt frames, Savage frames, horse bridle bits, bottle openers, shoe horns, chains ect that had been on display from around 1910 until he purchased them 15 years ago. they were samples of a special bluing process that AGL had developed and later sold to Colt's. I was told that it was referenced in a Colt book somewhere but I am yet to find it. Any info on AGL would be appreciated.
