Holo Site

What is the difference between the Holo siteI and Holo site II and has anyone shot 5 stand or sporting clay useing either of them. Thanks Mike

Holosight I is about 1and one half to two inches longer than the Holosight II. The older model appears to sit a little lower on the gun. As far as the sight picture you have, there is no difference. I prefer the older style but that's because they fit my holsters better. I shoot them on Remington XP-100s. The gunsmith that let me have one to try uses them on shotguns but I don't know if he ever tried shooting clays with it or not. I've thought about trying it myself. If I'd known about these sights sooner I would have owned one sooner. The 1 minute of angle dot is fine enough for precise shooting but I use the standard reticle which has the dot inside of a circle. I would think that would make a better shotgun sight.
