AR-15 muzzlebrake modification

I have a Bushmaster 16" HBAR AR-15 with a mini-y comp muzzlebrake. The muzzlebrake is fine on the range but too loud when I am hunting (no hearing protection). Is there a fake muzzlebrake out there that I can put on, just to keep the look? Or has anyone modified their muzzlebrake to slip on over the end of their barrel, no longer functional but looks the same? I appreciate any information.
