Trigger pull
I have ordered a new Remington 22-250 varmit rifle. I don't know what the trigger pull will be yet, but I'm sure for precise shooting it will be too hard. Do any of you own one of these rifles and what pound trigger pull would be best? will be shooting 100- 300 yds.

Is the trigger adjustable on the 700 adl? How about on the rugers?
Any one shot the new savage with the adjustable trigger? As always thanks for your replies[:p]0 -
i keep the trigger pull on all my rifles at around 28 oz. this will have to be done by a gunsmith though. factory adjustment will only take the trigger down to about 2.5 pounds. i have 6 remington bolt rifles and that was the lowest i could get any of them on my own. and yes 28 oz is a safe weight with the factory trigger. some people may not like it but i flip the safety off and hit the stock on the floor pretty hard a couple of times to make sure they dont fire without the trigger being pulled. of course do this before you mount your scope. and make sure the gun is UNLOADED 0 -
bullhauler is right on, with the way I do it too. I like em at around 2lbs (32oz) for hunting type situations, give or take a few ounces. Safe to carry, but soft enough to be accurate. 0
