Is there an advantage to SS AR-15 recievers?

I found some Stainless Steel Ar-15 receivers online, and was wondering if they are worthwhile or if the Forged alloy is preferred.I'm leaning to a 24 inch barreled match type shooter and still in the learning and deciding processThanks for your input!

    No advantage.The lower is not a stressed unit.cpermd

    If you dont mind the added weight, the SS lower finish may be more durable. Also the triggerpin hole as well as the two holes that mount lower to upper may hold their dimension better after a lot of use with SS.
