I am looking to buy relaoding dies for my 7mmRem mag. Midway has several different brands listed at very different prices. Is there really that much difference in quality?Which brand is the best buy for the money?

Over the years,i have used probably 4 or 5 different brands of dies. They all seem to do a good job.For the money, i think RCBS are hard to beat. You may pay a little more, but like everything else, you get what you pay for Just my opinion. Not everyone will agree i am sure. Old ss

I only reload for handgun and like Hornady the best. They've got a "sleeve" in the seating die which helps keep the bullet in proper alignment.

YankeeClipper has it correctly stated, my experience has been the same.

I've used them all and most work well. The old Herters were lousy. My favorites are RCBS and Lee.Have fun, be careful!Morty

I have some Lee, Hornady and RCBS.....I prefer the RCBS.If you're going to be loading a LOT of a particular caliber, I'd recommend the carbide dies.

I've broken numerous sets of RCBS, takes 4-6 weeks to get them replaced from RCBS, LEES I've never broken so can' say how long they take to replace them. I almost hate RCBS due to the deprimer rod that breaks alot also.I have a set of 45acp now with a stuck case in it I have to send back to RCBS. I have had nothing but good results with my lee dies
