I have just aquired a marlin 44 Mag riflethe ammo I got with it is 44 rem mag.Is there a differance between regular 44 magand 44 rem mag ammo. Is this a special ammo

  Hi, would like to find out what my gun is worth. It has a medallion on the stock with a man on a horse and 1870-1970 on it. It is a mod. 1894-micro-groove barrel cal 44 rem mag. It is in very good condition. Thanks for any help!
