One last question on my Ruger...
Okay, I really appreciated the advice on whether or not to keep my Ruger 944 .40 cal when I get it back. Butttttttt, I have a little trouble seeing the white sights. Anyone know if anyone makes those green or red light gathering, or whatever they are called, sights for this pistol? Any other mods I can make on it would be appreciated as well.

I've never had too much trouble seeing the sights... But if you are interested in changing them up I can get brand new mepro night-sights for about 65 bucks. If you wanna change them let me know.

Night sights will do you no good in daylight, but they are great in reduced light situations. If you have a problem focusing on the sights in daylight, as I do, you need to get prescription glasses for shooting. There was a thread that discussed this about two months age but I couldn't find it for you. Perhaps someone else can

Your eyes may be old like mine. Try some cheap reading glasses that you can find at just about any drug store. Test them to see which works best for you. They usually go from 1 to 5 diopters. The sights will be very clear with minor blurring of the target. 0
