BSA scopes
I'm looking to get a scope for my 7MM Mag. BSA has some really cheap scopes and that usually means cheap quality as well. Anybody know anything about their scopes?

I found some BSA scopes in a magazine on sale for a really good price. Is there a reason they are so cheap? Is this the case of "you get what you pay for"? I was just looking for some experience with these scopes. Thanks for your helpJay 0 -
Made in China, thus the price. They work well. 0 -
What are you going to put it on?I have one on a 22 mag, works great for squirls, but I would put it on a magnum, would probally shake the thing apart. 0 -
For the price they are pretty good scopes, but you get what you pay for. They should not be confused with really high quality scopes. For some applications, they will probably give you years of good service. 0 -
We havent had very good luck with these scopes. Watch your not getting refurbished deals on these which is typical. 0 -
First five 3x9s were very good scopes. Worked well on everything up to 243. Next batch had to send back a couple. High- Powered (8x32) great up to about 25-28 power, hard to focus for full power. Experience up to 7mmMAG is they are tough enough but they are not Nikons,Leupolds or other superior scopes. Will work well with the Wal-Mart crowd!! 0 -
Hi Jay, I have one on a 22-250(4-16x50), it came with the gun. IT seems to function well, but it doesn't have a real crisp and clear view like my leupolds. Buy what you feel comfortable spending. I use mine and I don't see the need to send $300.00 for a new leupold. You do get what you pay for. 0 -
I have 3 BSA scopes and 2 red dots ... for the money they are a good buy ... better than Tasco, but as previously stated they aren't Leupolds ... but then they dont cost like a Leupold either ...

bsa's are ok, not the best nor the worst. they are perfect for the small game hunting 22 or the light recoil deer rifle.they are different from the high priced leupolds, not as clear, not as expensive and when it breaks they send you a new one fast, unlike them ba#@$%rds at leupold. 0
