I am having trouble verifing the authenticity of a AR-15 TO BE PREBAN. The serial number shows to be plenty low enough to be pre-ban in all letter prefixes. The problem is that I didn't find a letter prefix on the receiver. The gun has COLT SPORTER and the serial number. Has anyone seen this or know if it is automatically a SP? Thanks for any help.
