I've never bought from one (at least not reloading stuff) but estate auctions are probably the best buys, if you don't mind used stuff. Check your local papers.

Buy a copy of Shotgun News and look in the reloading components section. If you load enough to use relatively large quantities of powder, bullets, and used brass you will find sources for buying in bulk that will save quite a bit over retail or gunshow prices even with shipping and hazmat costs. Military surplus powder is OK if it comes with GOOD loading data, and pulled military FMJ bullets are OK for most uses except hunting. There has been some surplus 4895 data powder on the market recently at really low prices. I have used a lot of the 147 gr .308 FMJ bullets, and .22 FMJ is also available.

I buy most of my stuff from Lock Stock & Barrel in Nebraska, better prices than Midway. Afraid I don't have their address but I believe they have a web page.

You might also try 'Widener's Reloading &Shooting Supply (www.widener's.com). Theircatalog is on the net; prices (for at least the brass I need) were the best. Take a look.Have Fun! Ron

If you have a relationship with a dealer, have him/her take a look at Black Hills (www.bhshooters.com). They have pretty good prices, which include shipping, but do not sell retail.

edharold--Where is Lock Stock & Barrel in Nebraska? I live in Sioux City, IA but am always in the mood to take a Sunday drive to check out a store I haven't seen yet (even Saturday if I get the day off perchance).
