Help
I just bought a rifle from a non FFL holder here on gunbroker. My FFL is under the impression that the seller must send it through an FFL to him. Is this true? Or are rifles okay to send from non-FFL to FFL? Please include where to find proof to back up your reply, it's not that I don't trust you, it's that my FFL needs hard evidence.Thanks-

This question is answered in the 2000 edition of Federal Firearms Regulations Reference Guide, a publication furnished licensed dealers by the BATF. Have your dealer look at question B3 on page 135. The dealer can buy, or receive, a firearm from an unlicensed person. The dealer will need the name and address of the seller so that the info can be entered on his bound book. 0 -

I see by your profile you are in AZ, so that shouldn't be a problem for your dealer ... he just needs to read his Federal Firearms Regulations Reference Guide, HOWEVER if the firearm you purchased is comming from Kaliforina, I think he is correct as the PRK doesn't allow the transfer except by FFL to FFL.
