Check out this site for CETME info. http://www.geocities.com/miketheelectrician1/cetme1.html?1006632443870 I think you get all the CETME information you can handle. Mine is a great shooter. The weapon was pretty dirty from the wholeseller[century]but it cleaned up nice. The price will only go up. Get one now while you can get it. Yea, Where did you get one for $250????Tideman

I love my Cetme, and at $415.00 it was a steal. He is right, it was dirty but it cleaned up very nice. I also have an HK91, and for the difference in price the Cetme is an awesome piece of work.

I have owned both...and liked both. But I prefer the L1A1. The recoil seems softer to me, and it is much easier to clean.

Going a little off the subject, anyone out there have any experience with parts kits? This is the only way I can get an FAL-type rifle in CA. Lots of kits floating around out there in various conditions. Will a kit in good condition yield a decent shooting rifle, or am I better served spending more on a higher-priced kit in better condition? Are all the parts necessary for building the rifle included (not the receiver of course) in the kit, or are there other things I need to buy? Thanks!
