Read an artical couple of months back in either Handgunner or American Riffle Man on how this ammo burns cleaner. Something to do with a cleaner primer especially for indoor shooters. The artical also claimed the the casing appears to be ready for reloading, its that clean. Well I made a point to pick up a casing last time out, and to be honest, it look just as black as some other brands I was shooting. Don't get me wrong, I like Winchester ammo, just disagree with this artical. Any one read this artical, Any comments?

  I have shot several boxes of the 357mag winclean. My experience has been that the cases are dramatically cleaner than anything I have seen before. They do seem to be a little hot, even for a factory round. I shoot mostly reloads, but do shoot factory on occaision. I have to say, at least in the 357, the winclean is about the best I have ever seen. Ino I am not related to or work at winchester!!) Just my experience.Hank

  I have a box of fired .45acp and they are exceptionly clean but the flashhole is over 1/8"! Found out that in order to remove all trace of lead in the priming compound they had to accept a much weaker primer that required an enlarged flash hole. The box states that they are "fully reloadable" but does not specify what primer should be used. To look at the flash hole makes me wonder why it didn't blow the factory primer out.
