Model 90 Win
Talon, Thanks for the info!! They closed the thread so I opened a new one. The gun will still shoot great and it will probably teach it's 4th generation to shoot someday! Groundhog Devastation

Groundhog Devastation, Barnes and Noble can order Schwing's book or you can get it on their website. $39.95 You sound like you have a pretty rare model 90. Optional finishes are pretty rare, with full nickel being more so than half nickel. According to my book most of them were used by shooting galleries because of the way the finish would hold up to handleing. That is why it is probably 22 short. A real giveaway on whether it is a true gallery gun is the loading port is triangularly shaped instead of shaped like a 22 shell. There are thousands of different configurations, finishes, stocks, engraving, barrel lengths, sights etc. It will boggle your mind. That is why I wouldn't attempt to put a value on your gun. But it sounds like you've got a real keeper there. P.S. I don't profess to be an expert but I have bought a few lessons. In my opinion I haven't seen to many pocket watches that I would trade for a full nickel model 90.Don't let it get away!!
