Win Mod 12 low S/N looking for value

I have a Win. Mod 12 with a very low serial number 27XXX. While the 12 ga. shotgun needs to be reblued it is otherwise in good condition. I am looking for a ballpark value as the weapon will be auctioned March 2, 2002 in Md. and I need a reserve price.Gun will be listed and photo shown at http://www.celerius.com/onnew.nsf Under Auctions\Personal Property\03/02/2002Image should be posted after 1/11/02.Thanks Ray

  A reserve of $250 is not out of line. It's worth more than a reblued m12, by the way, as long as it's rust free. Please don't use the term "weapon", unless it was used by the military or police. It's a firearm, or shotgun(Take a look at Webster's).
