JC Higgins 20 -12 Replacement Stock
I have a JC Higgins 20-12 12 gauge pump shotgun, and would like to change the stock to black abs. I haven't been able to find a stock - can someone tell me where else to look? I also would like to find an extender tube so that it will hold more rounds if that's legal. Thanks,Jim

Since posting this message, I've been told that the JC Higgins 20 -12 I have is a High Standard model 200. Does anyone know if that's true ? If so, where can I find a polymer stock & extender? Thanks,Jim 0 -
According to Numrich gun parts they are interchangeable. They have the wood handguard but not the buttstock. I'll look in some other catalogs I have for the synthetic. Wish me luck. They state that the tube assemblies are unique to each gun. I don't hold out much hope for the extension, but I'll look.[This message has been edited by oneshy (edited 01-03-2002).] 0 -
Thank you Oneshy !I was lucky enough to find out who really made the shotgun; maybe we'll get lucky again !Jim 0 -
Jim struck out so far. Did find that it was also sold by Sears as model 583.2003. Maybe this can give another place to look. I'll keep my eyes and ears open for them. 0 -
Have you checked here yet? http://www.boydboys.com/ 0 -
Thanks Oneshy & Miss.Creant !I checked boydboys and they have a wooden stock - I'm really looking for a polymer stock and barrel extension. I have a wooden stock now and wanted to change the appearance of my old faithful 12 gauge buddy ! 0
