Can I buy a 'new' rifle with a WWII VZ24 action with my C&R license?

  I haven't read my C&R regs. very deeply, but I understand that a frame or receiver is considered a firearm, therefore regardless of any sporterization you are in reality buying a C&R rifle if the receiver or action is derived from a C&R qualified firearm. Look it up in your 5300.4 reg. book.
