Winchester Super X-1

I was thinking of getting a Winchester Super X-1 and was hoping to get some expert's thoughts on what they think of it. Is it a good gun? What's a reasonable price for one in good to excellent condition? Anything in particular to look for or to look out for?

  if buying a used gun take the barrel off and check the magazine tube, early guns had carbon steel tubes that tended to rust and pit by the gas port (later guns had s.s. tubes) basicly a very good gun.

  I got mine 25 years ago and never had any problem with it. It shoot cheap ammo as well as magnum without any problem. Mine has a carbon steel tube and it`s true it tend to rust if you dont take care of it after a rainy day for example. The disassembly in major components is however very easy.
