Massachusetts allows mag sales over 10 rounds. They issue a Class A (large capacity) and Class B (anything but large capacity license) but I've never run into anyone who had the Class B, virtually all local police issue the Class A, no questions askded. In the last year I've brought 30 round AK, 20 Round M1A, and 30 round AR mags. You can still buy AK's, AR's, FAL's, etc... here. They've tried to ban them a few times, but a few lone Republicans have gotten the bills sidetracked and forgotten.Handguns are another story- up until a few months ago, S&W were the only company making handguns which could be sold in Mass, now SIG and Walther also do, but no new Glock, Beretta, Kimber, Colt... etc...

Maryland allows sale of detachable magazines of up to 20 rounds. See page 144, top right column, ATF P 5300.5 (The blue book they send you with the C&R License).
