Does anyone have any info on revolvers manufactured by Arminius? I am interested in the value/quality of the 38 sp. with a 4 inch barrel in NRA excellent condition.
    Serial # 402168
Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Which ARMINIUS are you talking about? Theres the Arminius by Herman Weihrauch Sportwaffenfabrik, Mellrichstadt/Bayern before 1968..F.I.E. for current Models like the HW-3, HW-5,HW-7 and HW-9...Then there was the ARMINIUS by Friedrich Pickert, Zella-Mehlis, Germany back in 1922-1939...Model #1 in .22
We went thru this Fire and Boat Drill before Christmas...Just a tad more information would clear up the Mystery...

I took a look; if You get the other Cylinder its gotta be worth at the very least a Hundred and a Half..It sold new for less...but inflation would cause it Rise plus the fact that its a decent enough little gun, and what can you get on the market today thats comparable...at that price..

Might I interject one thing, with permission of El Capitan, reading the ad I notice: " I have a 22 mag cylinder for this and it can be fit to the gun." This gets me to think it is not original to the gun, "it can be fit". This may mean some gunsmithing work could be involved if it does not slip in and headspace and time right off. Gunsmiths ain't cheap no more. I would want an understand with the seller that the cylinder does fit and function before I made a bid and if it does not I would want to know why the seller has not had it fitted prior to selling. I may very well be reading it wrong but would want clarification before pledging my funds.

    Just my unhumble opinion.[^]

I personally do not believe they are better than the Heritage.
