Changing stocks on a remington 1100 LT20

Can I put a youth stock on a Rem. 1100 20 gage LT.. Can it be done..
The best I can tell the shorter stock does not leave enough room for the gas cylinder. Does the youth stock come with a shorter cylinder.. Can I make it work.. please help..

  well i can't answer your question direst but Remington does make a 1100 20ga. youth so I would think it can be done
