Colt Diamondback finish

I have here a CDB the entire gun has a green finish is this a home parkerized job, or is this factory.It does not have that true look parkerize

  I have never seen a parkerized diamondback, personaly i think the blue is a beautiful gun on those, but people have been know to have a weapon refinished to what they like.

  From the Factory, the Colt Diamondbacks came in "Royal Blue" and "Bright Nickel!" Parkerizing was NOT an option any more than you could get a "Red Model T Ford!"
  
  As Henry Ford Said, "You can have any color you want so long as it's Black!.......
  
  Just remember to take off one more from the production numbers of the Diamondback......each ruined gun makes the Collectible ones more valuable!

  I have a Colt Commando 38 spec 4" bbl SN 24108 and it has a Parkerized finish. Is this a phony baloney one also??

  Now THAT'S a gun of a different color.
  
  The Commando was made for the War Dept during WWII, and the only finished was parkerized.
