Browning Gold Medallion A Bolt .300 Win Mag w/BOSS

I have a chance to pick up new one of these at (what I feel is) a good price.
Please note this is NOT the WHITE Gold Medallion.
I understand these rifles are discontinued.
When did Browning stop making these?
Anything wrong with them?
Is the stock the only difference between a medallion and gold medallion?
I have a Medallion A-Bolt without BOSS now that may be getting tired and would like to upgrade.
