Rossi, NEF, or H&R
Which of these single-shot shotguns are the best? Consider durability, availibility or accessories (screw-in chokes sights), warranties.

H&R and NEF are the same company, now to the question anyone will get it done. I like both I have both but go with NEF so you can get extra barrels in a few rifle caliber. Both are durable but NEF has more accessories. Never had to use the warranties. 0 -
Go with NEF or H&R (both by Marlin) over the Rossi. Rossi has some quality/parts issues with the breakopen lever. 0 -

I've owned several NEF/H&R guns over the years and find them to be an outstanding value. I've had two 10ga, two 12 ga., a .223, a .243 and a .410 that I just got. I killed a nice 23lb gobbler with the second 12 gauge a few years back. The .223 was very accurate, but I never did much but target shoot with it. The .243 was very accurate as well and I killed a couple of deer with it. Overall, I think you will be satisfied with one or two of em. 0 -
The only problem with the NEF/H&R is availability. If the model you want is on the dealer's shelf that's fine but ordering can be aggravating. I've had 2 youth models on backorder for over 4 months and no hope of getting them until next year. I ordered a Rossi for one customer who couldn't wait and we were really disappointed with the quality.
