Savage 22 Hipower
Can anyone tell me anything about a Savage 22 Hipower? A friend has one and he asked me about it. All I know is, it is in an old model 99 Savage, and it is a centerfire.
It ain't what you shoot, it's what you hit.

IT'S WHAT PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT THEMSELVES THAT MAKES THEM AFRAID.0 -
the .22 hi-power is a .30/30 case necked down to an odd sized .22 (.228" dia. bullets). used to be very popular up here (wis.) for deer. i beleave norma still makes ammo for it or you can relaod. bullets are hard to come by but one or two of the U.S. make still lists them. 0 -
The ammo is readily available. S & B makes it in the Czech Republic.
www.jgsales.com in the wonderful city of Preskitt AZ sells it @ $9.50 a box ( 20 ).0 -
