Anyone heard of a Gundig Indresden dbbl shotgun?
Has anyone heard of a Gundig Indresden double barrell shotgun. It has a rifle on one side and a shotgun on the other. The gun is to believed to be German and i would appreciate any information you may have to offer. thanks, larry

I'm with He Dog, I can't recall why but I believe it is
Grundig In Dresden.
If so it is German, I can't help with dates of man. or any of that but that should at least be the correct name. By the way I think this is the First time Bobski has EVER been stumped! Course' he knew which direction to point you.

I have a nice little single shot, break open Stalking Rifle in cal. 8.15X46R. The tapered octagon barrel is stamped C. Grundig Dresden and is definitely German. Sorry, I don't have any other info about this maker. Oh yeah, I bought a Grundig stereo console when I was stationed in Munich, but that has no bearing on this post! Emery

Grundig, C. Located in Dressden 1865-1868 , Father and brother were gunsmiths also.

Hoosier, do you have any other sources for info on C. Grundig? The reason I ask is that I would think both "cottonlarry's" and my firearms would date at least 15-20 years beyond the 1868 date you list. Maybe a grandson, or other relative?? Thanks. Emery
