Yes, the Benelli's are very reliable and typically pattern very well. I have a Benelli Super Black Eagle (semi-auto) that would honestly be the very last gun I'd get rid of. I like it so much I've even ordered a slug barrel for it.
I think the Nova's look a little futuristic, but the camo version helps break up the shape a bit if that bothers you. They are great guns and you'll be pleased.

Another cheaper option (if money's tight) for a 3.5" shotgun is that the used Mossberg 835 ulti-mags are going pretty cheap now...

As a Benelli Owner (M1014), I would get rid of ALL my guns to keep this one!!

We have sold over 50 of the Benelli Nova pumps in the past few years and have yet to have one returned for a problem! That says alot about a new gun (someone did their homework ahead of time) It may not be the only shotgun you want but it is the only one you'll need. If it is a matter of money,Like me dear old dad always said,"Save a few more months and buy the better product" you won't go wrong here!Joe

Jacodrum..... I have shot the Nova and liked it alot, it belongs to one of my hunting buddies.

I own 3 Super 90's and a Super Black Eagle, all semi-autos and love them. They are very well made, accurate, and reliable.

The Nova is very reasonably priced, and a good shooter. I think you will like it.

I have owned a Benelli SBE for a few years. Love that gun. Just something about their action and the feel of the shot. You will be very happy with a Benelli. Unless you just prefer pump action give the semi-auto a close look. Well worth the $$$$. I am getting ready to buy another Benelli. Trying to decide between the M1 Super 90 and the M1014.

Anyone care to steer me in one direction or another???[;)]

I've had one since they came out. I have and an 870 wingmaster that I've shot for years but it only takes 2 3/4 and doesn't have interchangable chokes. After a lot of research I went the Nova and love it. IT has never malfunctioned No matter what conditions it was being used in. My only complaint is the foreend rattles but other than that its a great gun. I forget what the warrenty is on but it was better than remingtons.
