Tikka M595 target opinions
I am looking for a target rifle in .223 to use for 200 yard matches.
The Tikka M595 target rifle has caught my interest due to the adjustable butt plate, pistol grip and that is comes in .223.
Does anyone have any info or experience with this rifle ?
Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks
Laura

Excellent gun for the money. Tikka advertises them as being capable of 1/2 moa accuracy. I shot a friends in 223 and with factory ammo it would shoot 5 shot groups of 3/4 inch size at 100yds off of a bench and sand bags. With my handloads it would shoot 0.5 to 0.6 inch groups. They have a little shorter barrel ( 23.5" I think ) so you will lose a little velocity compared to the 26" barreled guns if that's important to you. It won't make much difference at practical shooting ranges (especially on targets). For a factory production rifle they are an excellent value.
Good luck.[:)]0
