788 trigger from Timney

    i have never used these triggers although they should be quite an improvement over the factory 788 trigger. considering how the factory trigger is attached to the receiver i would think that replacing it would be quite simple to do. all that you so have to do is drive out a couple of pins

    The timneys are good triggers, but occasionally one slips through their quality control. I put one in a remington 700 and it was easy enough to get in, but the bolt wouldn't slide in over the top of it because it was to high on top.Had to file the the top down so it would clear. They wanted me to pay shipping to them and charge me $25 to install it. I have since seen a couple of catalogs that have disclaimers in their books that all warranty work has to be with timney directly -- not them.--- I will say that once I got it in I have been very happy with its performance.-- May have been a fluke............ good luck[8D].
