Marlin Bolt .22 Model #??????

Hey guys! Wondering if you might be able to help me out. I'm trying to replace a rifle that was given to me by my old man when I was a kid. It was stolen out of my pick up last year and haven't been able to replace it because I don't know the model number. In my research I can say that it looks like a model 80 but is tube fed instead of mag fed and it also looks like a 782 but shoots short, long, and long rifle, instead of magnum. Any idea what this rifle might be. By the way, there are pics of the 80 and 782 in the auction section of this site. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

  My Dad also gave me one of these.Tube fed-Model 81 - New Haven Conn. - Could never find a Serial No. on it.Manufactured in the 40's
