winchester date of manuf?

i have a winchester ,ranger mod 30-30,i need to find out when it was manufactured,can someone help me please,ser#is5385368,thanks,paul

  That database is NOT accurate, and it only goes as high as 5103249 (purportedly the last serial number made in 1982) for the Model 94.

  All that can be said is that it was very likely made after 1982. However, there were a few new features that were added in the years 1983 and 1984 that might help to narrow down when your Winnie was made. Does your Carbine have the angle-eject or top eject? If it is an angle-eject, does it have the hammer block feature? My guess is that it has both of those features, and that it was produced in late 1985 to early 1986.

  Yes... 1983 is the most likely year of mfg. for your Model 94 Carbine.
