What are everyones thoughts on the walther P22, Im looking for a .22 that everyone from my parents, girlfriend and myself can enjoy. I really love the look of the walther, any PRO's and CON's I should know about?

  I have been selling these for a time and find nothing wrong with them. They offer a lot for the money in my opinion.

  Go for it!
  Some of the early ones did have problems that were magazine related.
  Not the case with the later ones.
  We're not talking "Match Target" quality, but then we're not talking
  much money either.

  We got a regular that comes into our shop that has an earlier one. He has litterally gone through at least 6 hammer springs. Walther recently sent a bag of 100 springs because they got so tired of him calling them all the time. He does love the accuracy of his gun though.

  I had one of these. Traded it in on a Ruger MKII. Interesting design. Horrible trigger & poor accuracy - most likely related to each other. Really small grip. The finger extension on one mag provided allowed me to almost get 2 fingers engaged in the grip. Very cheap though.
