26", Super Bull, 1.150" Diameter Ar-15 Barrel
Hi everyone, I am new to this forum and I need some help. I am having a custom AR built and I am looking to buy a 26", Super Bull, 1.150 or larger diameter barrel to go on my new gun. Does anybody know of a barrel maker that can supply me with one of these barrels?
Has anybody here had one made before?
Thanks for any help in advance,
Renegade

renegade8720,
If you are having this AR custom built, the builder usually has the information for barrels. Every large scale barrel maker has a selection of AR barrels and most will do custom dimensions. I would let the builder arrange for the barrel, since that will put the responsibility on him for the quality, fit and finish. If you just want to look around for barrels, here are a couple of suggestions:

Thanks for getting back to me with this info. My builder is checking into barrels, I was just trying to give him some more options. We are leaning toward the Krieger barrel.
Thanks again for your help,

That is a lot of barrel! The AR type reciever was not designed to have that much weight hanging on the end of it. IMHO 0
