Need a value for a colt lawman MK III, coltguard finish, 95%, snub nose, rubber grips. Local shop has one for $375. Thanks in advance,

A friend had a 4" nickel Lawman Mk III and it was a decent gun, and he gave $250 for it used in excellent condition. It did has a tendency for the ejector rod to come loose (threaded) and once it fell off while shooting and we almost didn't find it. I'm not sure if they were all made this way or not.

A Lawman MKIII was my first gun. Big difference between it and the Python. The action isn't hand honed like the Python. The trigger pull on mine is very heavy. Had to replace the hammer a few years ago as it's made of sintered metal, and the single action notch broke off. Also had the same trouble as Cletus85's friend with the ejector rod. Still, a good basic defense gun. Enjoy it. There's really no such thing as a bad Colt revolver.

The only thing worse than lawbreakers, are lawmakers.

I had a lawman 2" that had a nice trigger, nearly new. It would walk the circle. It would work it's way around the target, every chamber hit in a different place. Might have been timing, ect. but I traded it back again. It was an alright gun with a nice trigger, feel, but as others have said it was definately NOT a python.
