I have 4 Burris scopes and 3 Leupolds. I'm not trying too take anything away from Leupold, but given the choice I'd rather have a Burris. In time I will replace the Leupolds with Burris scopes. Just my opinion, not trying to open a bag of worms here!

I have 2 along with a few Leupold, Ziess, and other less expensive types and I would buy another in a second no problems so far

The burris line (signature and black diamond) are superb scopes. You get what you pay for and more. I traded a leupold vari-x III away r when I mounted a 4-16x44 signature on my 7mag. A buddy just mounted a 8-32 balck diamond on his 300 win mag and it handles the job with no issues. They are great scopes,...period!!

why chase the game when the bullet can get em from here?....
    Got Balistics?

I had a Fullfield II and while it had good optics, I just didn't care for it. Being that Burris scopes are American made, (big deal to me) and they make a good scope, I think that their Signature series are the only ones that come close to giving Leupold a run for the money.

As far as optical quality, the older fullfield, was better to my eye, then the new fullfied 11 line...if their signature and blackdiamond series werent so bulky and heavy, I would own them exclusively as their optics are as good as I have seen...their compact or mini series is my alltime favorites for rimfires

I presently have Leupold, Weatherby (German) and one Burris scope.

The Burris scope is a Signature model.

While hunting in Colorado it fogged over the first morning out.

To Burris's credit they did repair it without charge.

I have it remounted on a rifle but I always have a second thought when I decide to use that rifle again.

I really don't know if I would buy another Burris or not.

From the above post most of the replys seem to think it it a winner.

Another vote for Burris, but save a little longer and get the Signature model. Not only are the optics fine and the coatings great, but these things stand up to use. The posi-lock is also worth the few extra $$.

My heros have always killed cowboys.
