I have a model 70 pre-64 s/n 27575. Original with scope mounted and about 1 inch cut off barrel. How do i find an approximate value?

I am getting ready to peddle/trade my old varmint rifle and would appreciate it if anyone could give me an estimate of the rifle's value on today's market.
The rifle is a Pre 64 Model 70 22 Hornet in Standard Rifle configuration. Overall I would rate it at 90%. It has a very professionally installed (no ugly screwheads or pins showing) Griffin and Howe side mount. The only negative is the rear sight is missing.
Thanks in advance for your input. PS-The serial number is 326xxx.0 -
PRE 64 M-70, .22 HORNET, 90%, $900 +-, SIDE SCOPE MOUNT -25%, ALTERED STOCK FOR MOUNT -15%=$585 +-. 0 -
Actually the biggest negative is the side-mount [and a stock cut].I'd go with Mikes 585.
Love them Pre-64's!!!!-Bob0 -
And, your .22 Hornet was made in 1954.
Keep off the Ridgeline0
