Arminius
I have a Arminius 32S&W long snub-nose 7shot revolver with no import marks so I'm guessing its an older one, it seems so very well made, its very accurate also I only payed $90 for it at a gun show ,no one had any intrest in it, with the seven shots and it shoots so good I cant figure why Arminius never had a better following?????? Mostly 'cause they're butt-ugly.[:D]...Really though, they have the stigma that many low priced guns carry (Jennings, Kel-Tec, etc.)..In reality, most of them really do function just fine. Enjoy your bargain..

Your revolver sounds like an HW-3 and was produced by the Herman Weihrauch Co. using the trade name Arminus. Weihrauch is a well respected german firearms manufacturer best known for its fine .22 match rifles (I own an example) so your pistol is of good quality. On the other hand the overall appearence of these Arminus pistols left much to be desired when they arrived on the American market in the early 1960's (see comment reading "Butt ugly"). When first introduced here in the USA revolvers reined supreme with shooters (excepting the Model 1911 Government .45) so in the land of the Colt and Smith and Wesson there was little interest among serious wheelgun shooters for these pistols and most were purchased either by first time handgun buyers or for use as tacklebox guns due to there low cost. $90 seems like a fair price since the .32S&W is no where near as popular a chambering here in the States as the .38 Special HW-38. These Arminus pistols remain very popular in Europe and I have encountered them often while overseas.

Good Morning Billybass....Was wondering just what ARMINIUS You actually Have.....? With No Import Marks I almost think You have one of the ARMINIUS Revolvers made by Friederich Pickert, Zella-Mehlis, Germany 1922-1939...In Good Shooting Condition...Worth $275.00 to $300.00....

ARMINIUS; by Herman Weihrauch Sportwaffenfabrik, mellrichstadt/Bayern, West Germany before 1968;After that F.I.E. was the Importer. and the Value goes down considerbly...Maybe $75.00 on a Good Day...Just wanted to Point out that there were several makers using the ARMINIUS name....You'll have to figuerout just which one you have......Best....

Thanks boys ,yes Mark mine says hw3 and when I took it apart for a real good cleaning I was supprised how fine it was made,the pull is great it has no tool marks anywhere, there are no import marks so I figured the 60's unless a soldier stationed in Germany snuck it home,it should be no way put in a class with Ravens, RG's or any cheapo "Chino California" pot metal junk, this baby is smooth as silk and seven shots even though 32 still aint bad, I believe its about 22-OZ and wouldnt sell it for $200, its a real keeper, 32 ammo is getting hard to find cheap , its a fine pocket carry,deep blue black color with a pearl type grip,it groups nice at 25 feet and have a Colt holster that fits it perfect, I really enjoy this site happy holidays to all you boys and your family's, I'm an Viet Vet and it did my heart good that regular soldiers gabbed that BUM up in his spider hole, all full of bugs and that skanky beard,I'm glad they didnt kill him so the world could see what POS he is,all that money and palace's , gold and it bought him nothing not 1oz of class,I gotta give Bush a thumbs up on this one, he was a threat to the world even if he had no weapons on mass destuction, the new world order , round up all the trouble makers and send a message there no where to hide, we will come to get you.
