styer pro hunter

Has anyone used a styer pro hunter? I am thinking of the stainless/synthetic model in a 30.06

One of my hunting buddies has a pro hunter in a 7mm mag. It would shoot 1 inch groups at 100 yards with factory ammo.seemed like a pretty nice gun to me,and wasn't too heavy to pack in Colorado.

Local gun shop had some earyl this year and they were nice feeling and balanced rig if I was looking I would put it on the short list

I have one in 308 and it is probably the best rifle I have ever owned.I have had many rifles through the years and the only thing that comes close to the Steyr is a Sako or Tikka.

I have the mod 96 SBS Forester. The prohunter is a liitle tactical looking for my taste. No US made rifle I own is a tightly engineered as the Steyer. Accuracy is MOA and it is a pleasure to carry being well balanced. You should be pleased.
