U.S.Navy Thermos Bottle
I know this isn`t gun related but, I ran into a U.S.N. marked thermos jug. It is a Stanley but also has Landis, Frary & Clark name on it. I think they made trech knives during WWI. This is a stainless steel jug. Just curious when it was made and if there is any value to it. Thanks for any help.

Its possible I suppose.... But, to be sure give Stanley a call..They have a WEB SITE and a Toll free Number....all stamped on the Bottom of the Bottle....

I think I know the kind of "thermos" You're talking about. But they don't get used for coffee. We fill them with liquid oxygen to drop berrilium bushings into them to compress the bushing, then install the bushing (wherever it needs to go) and when the bushing warms up it's in it's permanent home. Yep all this high tech stuff and we use thermos' bottles to walk around with liquid nitrogen. But if it's as old as you suspect it, then I'm just rambling for no reason.
