Ruger P90

I looked at a ruger p90 45cal. for $405.00 good price or not and does this model have any quirks I should be aware of?

    Hey guys couple of questions starting off Holster.. wondering if you guys can point me in the right direction to find a leg holster for the P90.. i've been searching for eons it seems with no luck :-/.. secondly.. polishing her up a bit.. with a nice smooth surface it shows the little surface abuse.. wondering if you guys have any reccomendations on polishing one of these puppies up.. Suggestions would be greatly appericiated.

    I have had a p90 for about a year now and I love mine. Its very accurate, and it feels great in your hand. Well balanced with a full clip. Hardly any recoil thanks to browning technology used in the manufacturing of the gun. Also it fieldstrips in seconds and reassembles just as easy. I would recommend getting a set of hogue grips, or just ordering them already on the gun. For the money you cant beat it. It can easily compete with any Glock, Sig, Or any other high end gun. Its as tough as nails. Good luck.

    I purchased the P95 with decock a couple of months ago and have put about a 100 rounds through it with no problems. Its a great little semi-auto for the money, I don't think you can go too wrong buying a Ruger, They make a quality product at a good price.

    I have a P90 and it is a excellent gun, but not on par with the Glock or some of the higher-end guns, but it is still gets an "A" rating IMO. The double-action is long but light and recoil is minimal due to the relatively high weight of the slide assy. The accuracy is good, usually in the 3-3.5" range and reliabilty is superb. They go "bang" every time and hit hard.

    Ive shot sigs and glocks and just about every other high end semi-auto 45. The p90 is right up their with them IMO. Just because you pay more it doesnt necessarily mean better gun.

    They're up there in the fit and function department, I just find the accuracy to be a bit under the G21, USP, or P220

    Also If you go to www.gunfinder.net you can find just about any gun, along with the ballpark price you will be paying at your gun dealer, and they usually have gun digest reviews for each gun along with specs and capacity and things like that.

    i've had mine for almost 4 years and love it. i have never had a malfunction with it. i think you will enjoy it

    I had one. It was ok. It was very reliable. Accuracy was decent. Didn't like the chunky feel to it, but the mechanics were sound. For a decent .45 without spending a lot of money I think it will be hard to beat the Ruger. I myself would rather have something else so I eventually sold it to one of my officers who still has it and is very satisfied.

    You can't go wrong with a P-90. Most of them shoot with the higher priced .45 autos and NO manufacturer can claim better reliability. I've had two of them. I traded the first "plain jane" model for the KP-90Dc model both worked flawlessly. I preferr the stainless look. Good luck.
