Browning T-Bolt Safety

Recently I acquired a Browning T-Bolt rifle, 22LR. The safety doesn't work. Therefore I removed the stock. I don't believe the real problem is with the safety but the trigger. Any helpful advice or information would be appreciated. There doesn't seem to be any easy way to remove the bolt. Is that right?

  Hold back the trigger and remove the bolt.
