Thompson Contender v/s Encore

I know this is going to sound stupid, but have owned a TC for years. Itg has a 45/410 barrel I used on snakes. Now want to get another barrell for varmit hunting. Well anyway now find out there is a Thompson Contender and a Thonmpson Encore. Are the barrels interchangable?[:I]

    The Contender and Encore barrels are NOT interchangable. The Encore has a larger frame, and is designed to handle "bigger" cartridges than the Contender.
    I don't know if the new G2(?) and the Contender barrels are interchangable however.
    Some guys like a mag full of lead, I still prefer one round to the head.

    I have a .223 bbl in 14 inch with the 2.5-7 power TC scope and LOVE it for varmints out to 150 yards on a calm day. You might want the 16 inch pistol or 21 inch carbine barrel for much farther.
