holster for taurus pt111
I am looking for a decent leather holster for my new toy. I am going to carry this pistol some and I want something to hold it that will do the job. Any suggestions? As always thanks for your replies.

Try donhume.com; Hume makes some decent leather that's not pricey.

Go with a Bianchi Model 7 Lined, they can be worn High ride cross draw or FBI kant. There nicely finished leather with a Liner to prevent Holster wear.Ive probably got 20 or more and have no complaints at all.Price range is about $69.00 you can get them at www.midwayusa.com or www.natchez.com .

Here's another thought. If you want a IWB holster, I use a Galco for my PT-111. It's rough side out with a "J" belt hook, and has sight guides inside. Cost about 60.00 at a gun show.

jsergovic -- Yacqui slide is one name for that type of holster. I think some are calling it a "belt holster" too.
As for holsters fitting the Taurus Millenium series, you'll find that some but not all holsters for the G26/27/33 will work. The only difficulty is that the larger rounded trigger guard is too big for certain Glock formfitting styles. Other formfit styles for the micro-Glocks seem to work very well. This is lucky, since far fewer holsters are made for the Millenium than for the little Glocks.
